A ready-to-run 30-minute Thanksgiving program

Welcome & a familiar hymn (5 min). Open with “Come, Ye Thankful People, Come” or “Now Thank We All Our God.” Play it and invite residents to join from memory.
A short Scripture reading (3 min). Read Psalm 100 aloud, slowly, in large print.
Gratitude sharing circle (7 min). Go around and invite each resident to name one thing they’re thankful for. Offer a prompt for those who need one.
A gentle hands-on activity (8 min). Hand out a large-print Thanksgiving word search or a simple gratitude-leaf craft — one per person, so everyone can finish.
Thanksgiving reminiscing (5 min). Ask one or two questions: “What was on your Thanksgiving table?” “Who did the cooking?” Let the memories flow.
